As a versatile artist, sculptor, and dedicated teacher, Artist Devassia Devagiri embarked on his creative journey at Kozhikode Arts College, where the seeds of his passion were sown, and his artistic spirit took flight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For an incredible span of 34 years, from 1984 to 2018, I had the privilege of being an educator at Devagiri Savio School. This was not just a profession, but a calling, where I had the opportunity to nurture young talents and witness their artistic growth.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

With over four decades of experience in the field of artistry, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing the transformative power of creativity. It’s been a journey of constant learning, growth, and a deepening connection with the world of visual expression.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

One of his proudest achievements is the creation of more than 2500 oil color portraits. Each stroke of the brush tells a story, capturing the essence of each subject with depth and emotion. It’s a testament to the power of art to encapsulate the human experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The honor of showcasing his work came through two exhibitions at the prestigious Lalitha Kala Academy in Kozhikode. These exhibitions were not just displays of his art, but a chance to connect with fellow art enthusiasts, sharing experiences and perspectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reach of his art extends far and wide, as many of his paintings have found homes both within and beyond the borders of Kerala. It’s humbling to think that his creations have resonated with people, transcending geographical boundaries.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
